Spring Break

We're spending spring break in a southern state, visiting grandchildren. We're experiencing beautiful weather, and all of the children are out and about, riding scooters and skateboards, enjoying the free time.
This one, however, chose to take a break, sit on the sidewalk and put in some more screen time playing a game. At least he's outside? Maybe. The teenagers in the neighborhood are spending more time texting than talking, although they too are outside much of the time.
Why do I comment? not sure; just another revelation of the changing generations.

Same all over! Have been through Arizona and New Mexico. Saw lots of teens out and about - in the parks, riding bikes, walking, etc, but most were "connected" either with headsets or phones as best I could tell. Those vacationers in restaurants were carrying their laptops or phones and keeping in touch with everyone.
